June 13

The days are blending together… Every road looks the same. I want to tell you about the ride. This is called the remember the removal ride. The Cherokee Nation and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians send riders to retrace the northern route of the trail of tears. The route goes through Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and finally home to Oklahoma. We ride anywhere from 30 to 75 miles a day. This has been such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to be home with the people I love.

Today on our ride we saw some very cute kangaroos.

The boys decided to all get Mohawks. Well everyone except Jeremy Wilson he wanted the superman symbol… It started off well but didn’t end that way. Altogether a successful day!
